Mary Alice Smolarek has over twenty-five years experience in assisting individuals protect their families through properly prepared powers of attorney, advance medical directives, wills and trust documents. Ms. Smolarek represent personal representatives in the administration of estates and trustees in the proper administration of trusts.
Ms. Smolarek joined Wright Constable & Skeen in 1993. She is the past chair of the Estate and Trust Section Council for the Maryland State Bar Association. Ms. Smolarek is active in local and state bar activities and is a lifetime fellow of the Maryland State Bar Foundation and the Baltimore Bar Foundation. She is a past member of the Maryland State Board of Governors. Ms. Smolarek is past president of the Bar Association of Baltimore City and past president of the Baltimore Bar Foundation.
Her work has garnered recognition from professional groups and publications. She has been named to the list of Super Lawyers for her practice area each year for over a decade, and was named one of the Top Women Lawyers in the Northeast by Martindale-Hubbell. She has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available.
