Jan Pederson, Partner
Jan Pederson is a partner at Wright, Constable & Skeen in the firm’s Immigration Law group. She has been recognized by The Washington Post as one of “seven leading lawyers” in Washington, D.C., due to her dedication to the practice of immigration and national law for over twenty years. Her Immigration Law specialties include: Foreign Medical Graduates, J-1 Physicians, 0-1 Visas, Consular Practice, National Interest Waivers, and Investor Visas. Ms. Pederson is masterful at resolving complex immigration issues and she has successfully represented thousands of clients, including renowned physicians, Fortune 500 companies, television networks, entertainers, and healthcare providers. Ms. Pederson is fluent in English and Spanish. In 1997, Jan was honored to receive the most prestigious national award for excellence in the advancement of immigration law, The Edith Lowenstein Award.
Ola Sami, Immigration Law Clerk
Ola Sami is a Senior Immigration Specialist at Wright, Constable & Skeen. She holds an LLM degree from Boston University School of Law and has worked at law firms in Beirut, Lebanon and in the US. Ms. Sami has in-depth knowledge of immigration law and international business. Ms. Sami manages end-to-end complex portfolio in several areas of practice. She oversees and initiate complex immigration processes and filing strategies related to J-1 Physicians, Broadcasters, and Special Immigrants, J-1 Waivers, Foreign Medical Graduates, H-1B, and develop contingency planning options where needed. Ms. Sami also works on procuring Lawful Permanent Residency (a/k/a Green Card) for Employment Based Immigrants such as EB-1, extraordinary ability immigrants and multinational managers, EB-2 and EB-3 advanced professionals. She is a native Arabic speaker.
Ou Jin Stewart, Paralegal
Ou Jin Stewart is a Paralegal at Wright, Constable & Skeen in the firm’s Immigration Law Group. She has a B.A. in Marketing and Public Relations, as well as a Certification in Advanced Korean Language studies from Seoul, Korea. She focuses on PERM Applications, Immigrant Petitions for Alien Workers, and Adjustment of Status and H1B petitions. Ms. Stewart speaks fluent English, Chinese, and Korean.
