James K. Archibald has joined the law firm of Wright, Constable & Skeen, LLP.

Mr. Archibald will work as of counsel to the firm, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the areas of intellectual property and complex litigation, as well as the unique perspective of working both as in-house and outside counsel. Mr. Archibald will also continue to serve as in-house Chief Litigation Counsel for the manufacturing company Wm T. Burnett & Co. and its sporting goods and apparel subsidiary STX, LLC.

Mr. Archibald is regarded as a seasoned trial attorney with extensive and diverse experience in both the defense and prosecution of civil litigation. He is distinguished as one of the very few attorneys in Maryland and DC who is both a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the American Law Institute.

He said he joined Wright, Constable & Skeen for the collegial atmosphere and the firm’s support of both his community involvement outside of work and his position at Wm. T. Burnett. At Wright, Constable & Skeen, he will continue his focus on intellectual property, products liability, toxic torts, commercial disputes and class actions.
