Wright, Constable & Skeen, LLP partners George J. Bachrach and Michael A. Stover presented three sessions at the FSLC’s Annual Spring Meeting in La Jolla, California addressing the issues faced by a surety when it contemplates providing financial assistance to a financially troubled principal.  The FSLC Spring Meeting was well attended not only by representatives from most of the surety companies from around the United States, but also by national and regional lawyers who practice surety law and surety/construction consultants and accountants who handle construction defaults.  George and Mike are co-authors of the Financing the Principalchapter in the newly published Fourth Edition of the Bond Default Manual, which was distributed to all of the attendees at the FSLC Spring Meeting and is available through ABA Publishing.

At the conclusion of the FSLC Spring Meeting, Mike Stover was appointed as an FSLC Vice-Chair for the year 2015 to 2016.  George Bachrach is a Past Chair of the FSLC (2001-2002).
