Mr. Potter works with a wide variety of companies and individuals to help them navigate through the often complex litigation framework surrounding construction law, surety law and commercial litigation. He has strong trial experience and is known as an excellent litigator.
Law is a second career for Mr. Potter. He is a 1995 graduate of The Ohio State University, where he studied Political Science and Spanish. He then moved to Spain where he taught English and worked for an IT company writing computer software manuals.
Mr. Potter attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he received the Excellence in Clinical Education Award for his work in UB´s Civil Advocacy Clinic. The award is given annually to up to three law students from UB´s eight law clinics who have demonstrated excellence in advocacy and professional judgment in clinical work. Mr. Potter joined Wright, Constable & Skeen in 2006 after serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas E. Marshall of the Circuit Court for Harford County.
Mr. Potter enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and helping coach his childrens’ baseball and soccer teams in his spare time. He also remains very active with the University of Baltimore School of Law as a mentor and contributor to various student body activities.
