WCS Hosts Breakfast for Ronald McDonald House
The WCS team is looking forward to hosting our first volunteer breakfast at The Ronald McDonald House on February 13th. The Baltimore location is the only Ronald McDonald House in the state of Maryland. This home serves as a home away from home for families of children who are receiving medical treatment at area hospitals and live too far away to commute. Some families stay a few nights, some over a year. Volunteer groups like ours serve breakfast and dinner 365 days a year so that the families can focus on the healthcare needs of their children. The Baltimore House is always full, with a waiting list, because of the world-class hospitals and physicians in our local area. If you are interested in learning more about the Ronald McDonald house or volunteer options, please visit their website.
