Mike Stover – Mike has been practicing law for 27 years in the surety and construction law field. He is AV preeminent™ rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, and has been repeatedly selected as a Maryland Super Lawyer® and Maryland Best Lawyer®. He has authored numerous papers, articles and book chapters on surety law issues and has given presentations at ABA/FSLC Mid-Winter and Spring Meetings, the Surety Claims Institute and the Northeast Surety and Fidelity Claims Conference. Mike is a co-founder, officer and member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Surety Claims Association and is a Vice Chair of the ABA/FSLC.

George Bachrach – George has been representing surety companies for 42 years.  He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, and he has been repeatedly named as a Maryland Super Lawyer® and Maryland Best Lawyer®. He has written and published extensively in the surety field including numerous book chapters, articles and papers. He has presented at every major surety meeting and has been the editor of several ABA/FSLC publications and the Program Chair at numerous ABA/FSLC meetings. George was the Chair of the FSLC in 2001-2002 and has been Chair or Co-Chair of several ABA/FSLC Divisions over the years.  In 2009 George was recognized for his many achievements and years of service to the ABA/FSLC when he received the Martin J. Andrew Award for Lifetime Achievement in Fidelity and Surety Law.

Cynthia Rodgers-Waire – Cindy has been practicing law for 24 years in the surety and construction law field.  She is AV preeminent™ rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, and has been repeatedly selected as a Maryland Best Lawyer® and was named Best Lawyer of the Year in 2012.  Cindy has authored numerous papers, articles and book chapters and has given presentations  at ABA/FSLC Mid-Winter and Spring Meetings, the Surety Claims Institute and the Northeast Surety and Fidelity Claims Conference.  She has been involved with the leadership of the ABA/FSLC as Co-Chair of the Law Division and the Membership Division and as a Vice Chair.

 Lisa D. Sparks – Lisa Sparks is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell® and has since 2013 been every year selected as a Maryland Super Lawyer®.  She also was recognized among The Daily Record’s Leading Women in 2014 and in both Top 50 Maryland Super Lawyers and Top 100 Maryland Super Lawyers  in 2015. Lisa focuses her practice on commercial and construction law and is a LEED accredited professional.  She represents insurers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, design professionals  and sureties in contract review and negotiation, litigation, mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings. Lisa is a Practitioner in Residence at the University of Baltimore School of Law, teaching Commercial Law, Sales and Leases and Construction Law.  Lisa has presented to the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee of the American Bar Association and written articles for associations in construction and surety law.

Gerard P. Sunderland – Jerry has been involved in the surety industry for over 43 years.  He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, and he has been repeatedly named as a Maryland Super Lawyer® and Maryland Best Lawyer®. Jerry brings a unique perspective to his representation of sureties because he was an in-house surety claims handler for Aetna Casualty and Surety Company (1970-1977) and for Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland (1977-1979.) Jerry was also Assistant Attorney General and Principal Counsel for the Maryland Transportation Authority (1979-1981).  Jerry has written numerous articles and given presentations to various surety associations and he is on the Board of Directors for the Surety Claims Institute.

Louis Kozlakowski – Lou has been practicing law for 34 years. He centers his practice on commercial law, government contracts, construction law and litigation. An aggressive advocate for his clients, Lou seeks resolution of disputes in a timely and efficient manner, when possible through alternative dispute resolution and other forms of negotiation outside the courtroom, when in clients’ best interest, litigating.  He has litigated matters before a variety of forums, including the American Arbitration Association (AAA), Boards of Contract Appeals, the GAO as well as federal and state courts. In his three decades of serving businesses in construction, he has represented clients in a wide range of projects, including commercial buildings, condominiums, highway and bridge construction, hospital multifamily housing building, schools and waste water treatment facilities. A frequent speaker to business and legal audiences on topics related to construction and commercial law,  Lou is AV rated by Martindale Hubbard and has consistently received recognition as a Maryland Super Lawyer and Best Lawyer, lists derived from peer evaluations.

Jason R. Potter – Jason has been practicing law for over 10 years in the surety and construction law fields.  He has been recognized as Maryland Super Lawyers in the areas of Surety and Fidelity Law for 2016, as a “Rising Star” for 2011 to 2015.  Jason has presented papers at the Northeast Surety and Fidelity Claims Conference, the Maryland State Bar Association’s Construction Law Section, and co-chaired the annual meeting of the Surety Claims Institute.

Marc A. Campsen – Marc graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he was an Editor of the Law Review and a member of the Heuisler Honor Society.  Upon graduating from law school, Marc was a law clerk to the Honorable Lawrence Rodowsky on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.  Marc is a member of the Bars of Maryland, Washington D.C., New York and Connecticut.  He has been selected as a Maryland Super Lawyer – Rising Star in 2015 and 2016.  Marc has written several papers and presented on surety topics at the Northeast Surety and Fidelity Claims Conference.  In addition to representing surety companies, Marc maintains a varied litigation practice with a focus on business and work-place related disputes including breach of contract and warranty, interference with contract or business relations, corporate ownership disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets, consumer protection violations, product liability claims and False Claims Act issues.
