Bob Hesselbacher has had a wide-ranging and varied civil litigation practice for more than 30 years. He regularly handles cases throughout Maryland and in the District of Columbia and Virginia. He has been named a Maryland Super Lawyer in the area of business litigation since 2007 in recognition for his excellent representation of individuals and businesses.
Bob is very experienced in a variety of insurance defense areas, notably the defense of attorneys and other professionals and nonprofit organizations. In addition to his litigation practice, he frequently serves as a mediator in civil and probate cases.
Mr. Hesselbacher has held leadership positions with the national defense organizations DRI and the Professional Liability Defense Federation. He is active locally with the Bar Association of Baltimore City, having chaired a number of committees, and he is a board member of the Maryland Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
Bob brings a wealth of other experience to the firm, having previously worked in the Maryland Attorney General’s office and in both very small and very large law firms. He emphasizes that he most enjoys Wright, Constable & Skeen for its collegial team atmosphere and the extraordinary value offered to clients by the firm.
