AREAS OF PRACTICE
 
Meighan’s practice is concentrated in civil litigation, with particular focus in the areas of admiralty/maritime, construction, insurance defense and personal injury. Yet given the nature of Wright, Constable & Skeen, LLP as a general practice, full service law firm, Meighan is well-versed in a wide variety of legal areas, including family law, real estate, contracts, business transactions and small claims/collections.

EDUCATION
 
Meighan graduated with a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2002 from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she successfully completed the Honors Program. While at Maryland, Meighan developed her leadership skills by serving the student body and local community as President of the University’s Panhellenic Association. 
Meighan received her juris doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2005, graduating with honors. While at Maryland Law, Meighan was Notes & Comments Editor of The Business Lawyer, a nationally circulated, ABA published legal journal. She also served as the Treasurer of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund.
SELECTED PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
 
Meighan is an active member of the Bar Association of Baltimore City, Young Lawyers’ Division, where she is currently Chair-Elect. Meighan is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association, Maryland Chapter.
  COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
 
Since 2006, Meighan has served as President of the Gamma Mu Facility Corporation, a non-profit organization providing living and meeting space for the members of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity at the University of Maryland. Meighan also donates her time performing pro-bono work for the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers’ Service.
