Employment and Labor Law: Representing employers under Title VII; Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); Wage and Hour Laws (FLSA); Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA); Age Discrimination in Employment (ADEA); Wrongful Discharge litigation; Preparation of personnel procedures and policies, employee handbooks and substance abuse polices; Union collective bargaining negotiations and arbitration disputes; ERISA benefits litigation; Employment Contracts/Separation Agreements.
Health Care Law: Representing community health care centers with approximately 20,000 members, including preparation and review of provider contracts, supplier contracts, employee contracts; General corporate issues relating to governance of corporations; Privacy issues relating to medical records and release of information; Negotiations with State and local authorities regarding regulatory requirements, regulatory compliance and contracts to perform services; and other related legal issues which may arise on a day-to-day basis.
